Suggested use:
• Add 8-10 drops into bath water or sauna.
• Add 30 drops to 2 Tablespoons of carrier oil. It can be used as a massage oil.
• Apply a couple of drops to the temples, wrists, back of the neck, behind the ears, or across the forehead.

Lavender

Lavendula Angustifolia Var. Buena Vista
Lavender is an evergreen plant that has lilac colored flowers and is native to the Mediterranean area. The plant reached a height of approximately 3 ft. There are over 30 different species of lavender.
Lavender is one of the most widely used essential oils. It is calming and refreshing and has been used therapeutically for soothing insect bites and burns.
Geranium, Rose

Pelargonium graveolens
Geranium is a plant that is small and fragrant and is native to Africa. It can grow to a height of approximately 3 ft. There are more than seven hundred species of geranium.
Ylang Ylang

Cananga odorata var. genuina
Ylang Ylang is an evergreen tree that is native to Asia and can grow to a height of 100 feet. The tree has glossy leaves and large, yellow, fragrant flowers. In Malaysian, the name means “flower of flowers”. It’s oil is used in perfumes, cosmetics, detergents, beverages and foods.
Clary Sage

Clary Sage is a plant that is native to Europe. It grows to a height of approximately 3 feet and has flowers of different colors (depending on the variety), from which the essential oil is obtained. Clary Sage has been used historically for brewing ales and as an additive to wine (to make it more intoxicating).
Patchouli

Patchouli is a plant that is native to Asia and can grow to a height of about 3 ft. and has purple or lavender flowers. It’s fragrance is heightened when exposed to full sunlight. Patchouli essential oil is used in perfumes, incense, and as an insect repellant. It has also been used as an antidote for venomous snakebites.
Orange

Orange is an evergreen tree native to Asia that can grow to a height of between 20-30 feet and has fragrant white flowers. Orange essential oil has a fresh, sweet, citrus aroma and is produced from the peel of the fruit. It is one of the most popular of all fruits. Historically, orange essential oil has been used as food coloring, perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning agents and is used on wood products to repel insects. It’s seed produces a bitter oil that is used for cooking and is an ingredient in soaps.
Lemon

Lemon is an evergreen tree that can grow to a height of between 10-20 feet and has fragrant white flowers. Lemon essential oil has a fresh, sweet, citrus aroma and is produced from the peel of the fruit. It’s juice is used in salads and for cooking. Historically, lemon essential oil has been used to perfume clothing and to freshen the air. In England, it is used in hospitals to treat depressed and fearful patients. Lemon essential oil is useful in strengthening the emotional state of such patients.
